King Fahd International Airport is pleased to announce the launch of “City Terminal” in Dammam on 12th March 2017

Conveniently located in SAPTCO Bus Station in Dammam, City Terminal is opened for check-in from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 pm daily.

The terminal offers direct access from the road, hence allowing easy access for passengers and their baggage. Baggage wrapping service is also available in the City Terminal for a fee.

Handled by Saudi Ground Services (SGS), passengers are able to check-in their baggage and obtain boarding passes at the City Terminal. They can check in for flights 24 hours in advance until 6 hours before the scheduled departure time.

All baggage will be securely transported to the airport and loaded on the flight after the usual security checks. Passengers can now arrive at the airport at a convenient time and proceed directly to the boarding gate.

Mr. Turki Aljawini, KFIA Director General said that the decision to operate the City Terminal is in line with the airport’s commitment to offer a variety of services to improve passengers’ experience at the airport. This is in line with General Aviation Civil Aviation (GACA)’s overall direction to develop a world class air transport industry in the kingdom.

Mr Aljawini added that KFIA plans to extend the City Terminal services to more locations across other cities in the Eastern Province in the future if there is good demand.

The first phase of the City Terminal will see six airlines offering services: Saudi Gulf, Jet Airways, Oman Air, Etihad Airways, Pakistan Airlines and Egypt Air.
