The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signs an agreement with Senegal in the field of air transport services


Jeddah- July 22, 2019

 

His Excellency, the president of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Mr. Abdulhadi Al Mansouri, signed today an agreement in the field of air transport services between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of Republic of Senegal, which was represented by the Minister of Tourism and Air Transport Mr. Alioune Sarr.

 

This came during a meeting of His Excellency, the President of GACA, in his office in Jeddah today with the Minister of Tourism and Air Transport of the Republic of Senegal.  During the meeting, they discussed issues of mutual interest and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

 

The agreement signed between the two governments included several regulatory provisions guaranteeing the rights of the two parties, the pluralism of appointments, items related to air safety, aviation security, scheduling of routes agreed upon in the agreement and other items in the field of cooperation in the air transport service.

 

It is worth mentioning that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leadership in the field of civil aviation at the international level reflects the policy of the Kingdom in achieving further growth and development in the air transport sector in the Kingdom.  Furthermore, achieving cooperation with other countries, and the commitment of safety and security of civil aviation, in addition to providing all the facilitations needed, and helps in the cooperative efforts in serving the guests of Al Rahman.
