Prince Sultan bin Salman honors GACA for its participation in Saudi Colors (Alwan) Forum

The chairman of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage, HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, honored GACA for its active participation in Saudi Colors (Alwan) Forum organized by the Tourism and National Heritage Authority in Riyadh, at the International Convention and Exhibition Center during the period of the (12 to the 18 of Rabi Alawal 1438 corresponding to the 11^th to the 17^th of December, 2016).  His highness visited GACA’s pavilion at the Forum and was briefed on the photos that illustrated the great development witnessed at all of the Kingdom’s airports. 
For his part, Mr. Basem Alsallom Assistant to GACA president for Corporate Communications and Marketing praised the high attention given by Prince Sultan bin Salman, chairman of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage at the Forum and for the honor bestowed upon GACA by his highness.  He confirmed that GACA support creativity and that its participation at the Forum reflect positively on our nation and all of its citizens.  He added that this an opportunity to identify the civil aviation achievements that have been made during the last period and by informing the public about the current and future projects.
Alsallom pointed out that GACA has launched a photo competition “Share a moment with us” to provide an opportunity for the traveling public to take photos of one the Kingdom’s airports, or have photo taken through an aircraft’s window.  The best photos will be displayed at GACA’s pavilion and winner will be selected by the visitors of the pavilion at the Forum.  He went on to praise the Forum Colors (Alwan) for what it had achieved during the past years, and for its continuous successes which made it one of the premier event locally.  He pointed out that the Forum is not just a passing gathering for photography enthusiasts and touristic film producers, but rather a cultural gathering that includes all spectrum of society and contribute in defining culture dimension of the Kingdom civilization and its cultural heritage and natural components.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation and for the first time participated as a major sponsor for Saudi Arabia Color Forum (Alwan) in its fifth session, during which eighty exhibitors are participating with the aim of having close to 30 thousand visitors in attendance.  GACA participation comes to showcase its duties and responsibilities to the public, as it oversees twenty-seven airports throughout the Kingdom.  GACA and through its participation in photographic event like to highlight the pictorial creativity, which will reflect positively on the whole nation and all of its citizens.
