The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is living the joy of the first anniversary of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s ascension to the throne, leading his people forward and patronizing the nation’s booming renaissance, said Sulaiman Al-Hamdan, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation.
“The Saudi nation have pledged allegiance to King Salman on this day, promising submission, obedience, devotion and loyalty in good times and in ill,” he said in a speech on the anniversary of the blessed day.
“This occasion, dear to all of us, embodies all the achievements of the country’s late kings, who relentlessly built the status of the Saudi state ever since the era of late Founding Father King Abdulaziz Al Saud, with the Kingdom gaining many civilizational achievements and an unassailable position on the international arena.
“I am happy to reiterate that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques looks forward to a new role for the Kingdom’s civil aviation industry, in which it becomes more effective, more dynamic, with a greater impact on the growth of the national economy, and for it to achieve its objectives in sync with the rapid developments in the regional and international civil aviation industry,” said Hamdan. “The Authority is working hard to execute the King’s directives in ways that shall reflect positively on the Kingdom’s economic and social development in general, and the sector in particular. His patronizing of the opening of Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madina recently attests to his keen interest in this sector.
“Since the Pledge, the Kingdom has witnessed record achievements in one single year, marked by comprehensiveness and integration. The Kingdom also made its mark on the international arena at so many national and international levels, despite all the events the region is going through.
“Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz not only is a statesman, but the leader of a nation to which he has given plenty of effort to raise it to a status worthy of it and its people.
“He has a formidable role in uniting the Islamic and Arab nations, bridging whatever rifts there had been, joining nations together, unwaveringly defending the causes of the Arab and Muslim nations, and standing firmly by brotherly nations that go through political and economic crises. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has set an irreproachable example in decisiveness when and where needed, and Operation Decisive Storm is a clear message to the entire world, and to anyone that attempts to compromise the Kingdom’s security and stability in any way, shape or form.
“Finally, on my own behalf and that of the staff of the General Authority for Civil Aviation, I would like this occasion to mark the renewal of our pledge to our King, Salman Bin Abdulaziz, His Crown Prince and Minister of Interior, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Nayef, and His Deputy Crown Prince and Minister of Defense, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, and we pray to God to keep them in good health and see them with His blessings.”
