The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques receives the president of ICAO

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud received at his office in Alsalam Palace in Jeddah, the president of the international Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Dr. Bernard Aleu.

At the beginning of the reception, the head of ICAO expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the Kingdom generous donation of million dollars for ICAO program.  The program meant to assist States who are unable to apply the rules of international aviation safety and related programs and recommendations.   Following the introduction, a review of the most prominent international efforts of the organization and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom and the ICAO in the field of civil Aviation.

The reception was attended by Minister of State, Cabinet member Dr. Mosad Alaiban and Minister of Transport and the chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Mr. Suliman Alhamdan, also in presence the Assistant to GACA president for safety, security and air transport, Mr. Abdulhakeem Albadir, as well the Regional Director of the office of the ICAO in the Middle East Mohammed Rahma.
