GACA obtains ISO certification in quality management

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has received ISO certification in the field of quality management, which are internationally recognized and include the international standards for quality management.
 
The  Director General for Safety and Risk Management, Dr. Sami Al-Sraisri at GACA have said that obtaining the ISO certification came as a result of the excellence of the work environment in all sectors and departments belonging to GACA .  Also, the high efficiency of the staff and knowledge of the nature of the work.  And largely to the adoption of the technical expertise by GACA, the use of electronic management methods in its procedures and the performance of its functions.  It also complies with all local and international standards, by documenting and implementing them.
 
Al-Saraisri added that GACA has completed all the necessary stages and met the all criteria needed for obtaining the accreditation and acquiring the certificate.  A work team was set up to achieve the requirements according to the needed criteria related to the excellence work environment.  At the same token, relying on technical aspects and minimizing paper transactions. The business and procedures is consistent with local and international standards.
