Civil Aviation Delegation Begins Official Visit to Singapore, China and United States to Discuss Opportunities for Cooperation

A high-level delegation from the civil aviation sector will conduct official visits to the Republic of Singapore, the People’s Republic of China, and the United States of America from 19 to 29 February 2024. Headed by the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, the delegation will discuss ways to cooperate on air connectivity, economic growth, and opportunities to help achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The visits come as part of Saudi efforts to enhance the air transport sector’s role in the national economy and open doors to investors from all over the world. The visits will also provide an opportunity to review qualitative investment opportunities in civil aviation and highlight the Kingdom’s initiatives to advance the sector, with the aim of boosting travel options, tourism, and cultural and commercial exchange between the countries.

The delegation will begin the visit in the Republic of Singapore, where President Al-Duailej will participate in the Changi Aviation Summit and the Singapore Air Show. In the United States, President Al-Duailej will participate in the International Helicopter Exhibition in Anaheim. Al-Duailej is also scheduled to meet a number of government officials in each country, as well as CEOs of civil aviation companies. The visits will include a number of round table meetings with industry leaders to present the latest achievements and unique opportunities embedded within the Saudi Aviation Strategy.
