GACA participates with two working papers in the first Virtual Employment Fair


The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) presented two working papers at the first virtual employment fair, which began its work yesterday in the capital city of Riyadh, organized by the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services, with the participation of many agencies in the government and private sectors.
 
Dr. Mashael Hassan Al-Qahtani emphasized in a session entitled "Empowering Women in the Transport and Logistics Sector" that one of the objectives of the sector's strategy is to enhance and raise the percentage of women's participation in the sector, expand work options for them, and increase their participation through employment and direct recruitment of administrative, specialized and technical jobs in several fields.
 
She indicated that GACA has implemented many programs and initiatives, including the "Future Leaders" program that train and qualify distinguished recent graduates Saudi trainees holding a bachelor's and master's degree.
 
Mr. Khaled Al-Asmari also presented a working paper entitled"The Importance of localization in the Transport and Logistics Sector" in which he stressed the importance of the localization initiative in the air transport sector and its activation despite the circumstances that greatly affected the air transport sector worldwide.
 
He asserted that, the civil aviation sector strategy has contributed to the diversity of jobs and the correct collection of information. He went on to say that It has produced positive results since the start of the ten thousand jobs, where the completion rate to date has reached 50%, employing 4,966 jobs in various fields of air transport jobs.
