The General Authority of Civil Aviation issued a license certificate for Taif International Airport

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) issued a license certificate for Taif International Airport to receive international flights.  This after the airport met all the requirements and international standards set in the legislations required to license airports at the General Authority of Civil Aviation and in compliance with the International Civil Aviation Organizations Standards (ICAO).
And for his part, H.E. the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Mr. Sulaiman Al Hamdan, presented the license certificate to the General Manager of Taif airport, Mr. Ahmed Alghamdi in the presence of license issuing work team from Safety and licensing sector and other GACA officials.
It’s noteworthy that Taif airport made an exceptional efforts during the last period to meet the necessary requirements for the issuance of the license certificate with the encouragement and follow-through of the Assistant to the President for Airports, Eng. Tareq Alabduljabar, and the Assistant to the President for Safety and Air transport Capt. Abdul Hakim Albadur.
It’s worth noting that airport has seen a steady growth in departing and arriving air traffic by more than one million and one hundred thousand passengers, and a total of ten thousand flights by the end of 2015.
