GACA organizes a virtual seminar entitled "Best Practices in Airline Catering Security"

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) organized today, and over the span of two days, via video communication, a seminar entitled "Best Practices in Airline Catering Security", with the participation of a number of specialists and experts in this field from inside and outside the Kingdom.

 

The symposium, which is considered one of the most important civil aviation security activities in the Middle East region, aims to confirm work on best security practices in air supply, display security techniques and innovations related to means of security inspection, exchange information, experiences and successful international experiences, and review best practices and experiences related to supply security. This in addition to  Highlighting the role of the Cooperative Program for Aviation Security in the Middle East, which is hosted and chaired by the Kingdom, in addition to confirming the Kingdom's pioneering role in the field of civil aviation industry at the regional and international levels.

  

This symposium will be held, with the support and patronage of the Saudi Arabian Airlines Company for Catering, which seeks to enable its specialists to have access to the latest technologies and innovations related to the means of security detection.

 

GACA confirms, through its holding of this symposium, the continuation of its efforts to achieve the highest standards of security and safety in the Kingdom's airports, and the development of rules, recommendations and guidance materials that ensure the protection of civil aviation. This in addition to developing civil aviation security and exchanging experiences to improve the security system at airports to implement security procedures in accordance with the highest international standards at airports, and the qualification and upgrading of qualified national personnel in the field of aviation security.
