The General Authority of Civil Aviation participates in the 57th Kuwait National Day celebration

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) represented by the Kingdom’s airports participated in the 57^th Kuwait national day celebration, which falls on 25 February of each year.  Through the celebration, GACA is seen expressing the deep brotherly relations between the two countries and embodying the spirt of the solidarity between the people of each country.
 
The celebrations were held at a number of international airports terminals, arriving and departing passengers were met with flowers and with Kuwaiti national songs, flags of the two nations were distributed to passengers, in addition to some souvenirs for the occasion.
 
For his part, H.E Mr. Abdulhakeem Altamimi, president of GACA in an audio message broadcasted through the air traffic control towers presented a congratulary message to passengers arriving from Kuwait for this occasion, wishing the people of Kuwait further progress and prosperity in all fields.
 
The Kingdom’s airports have set a number of national events in several arrival and departure terminals, at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah witnessed a reception ceremony of arriving, and departing passengers, they were met with roses and special gifts commemorating the occasion.   Kuwaiti and Saudi flags were distributed in the presence of the Council General of Kuwait in Jeddah Mr. Wael Alanzi, also in the presence of the assistant to the GACA president for airports, in addition to King Abdulaziz International Airport Director, Mr. Alrimi and a number of officials from various agencies at the airport.
 
And on the occasion of Kuwait National Day, King Khalid International Airport received arriving passengers from Kuwait with flowers and flags for this auspicious occasion.  In the main time, the directorate of King Fahad International Airport in Damam, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, Taif international airport and Abha airport, terminals were decorated with the flags of Kuwait celebrating the special occasion.  The celebration showed the strength of the relationship between the two nations, on this occasion many national songs were played, in addition to roses and flags that were distributed.
