President of the Civil Aviation Authority concludes his visit to the French capital

His Excellency, the president of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Mr. Abdulhadi Al Mansouri, and the accompanying delegation concluded their visit to the French capital of Paris after attending the 53rd International Paris Air Show.

 

During his visit to the French capital, Al Mansouri met with French Transport Minister, Elizabeth Bourne and presidents of major companies dealing with civil aviation.  He discussed aviation related activities, such as construction, technological systems, airport operation, aviation services, and navigational systems.  This in addition to reviewing investment opportunities in the aviation sector, all in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the new investment environment in the aviation sector.

 

On the sideline of the Paris Air show, HE the president of GACA met with the Transport and Communication Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed.  During the meeting, they stressed the continued cooperation in the fields of civil aviation and the opening of new horizons for joint-cooperation between the two sisterly kingdoms.

 

It is worth noting, that the Paris Air Show is one of the most important international trade fairs in the aviation and aerospace industry.  Moreover, the most important international exhibition in the aviation industry.

The Paris Air Show will display civil and military aircraft to prospective customers.  During the Air show, major deals will be signed through the opportunities of meeting major international and military companies.

 

The Paris Air Show was first organized in 1908 as an aircraft wing at the Paris Motor Show; and then became a separate stand-alone event starting in the year of 1909.
