Saudi Civil Aviation meets with US counterpart

HE Mr. Abdul Hakim bin Mohammed Al Tamimi, the president of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, and his accompanying delegation visited the US Federal Aviation Administration. The two sides discussed a number of topics related to civil aviation and means of developing cooperation between the two bodies in the field of training and exchange of experiences. Understanding the specialized training programs for the employees of the General Authority for Civil Aviation in the Kingdom of engineers and specialists in the field of aviation operations, aircraft certification, the validity of aircraft and other specialized technical departments.
 
Mr. Abdul Hakim bin Mohammed Al Tamimi, Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, stressed the importance of developing cooperation and relations with the US Federal Aviation Administration and that the Authority is working to develop our relationship in all areas of civil aviation, especially with regard to safety and security and modern technologies in the field of civil aviation. He added that the talks with the US side were successful and stressed the depth of the ties between the two friendly countries in various fields, especially in strengthening ties of relations in the field of civil aviation.
 
The delegation of the General Authority of Civil Aviation held three meetings with several bodies in the US aviation and represented the American side, Mr. Ali Bahrami, Assistant President of Aviation Safety, and several representatives of foreign and international affairs of the US Air and Airports Bureau. The two sides discussed in their discussions ways to exchange experiences between the two sides and cooperation between especially those related to the training of specialists and performance development for civil aviation technicians.
