General Authority of Civil Aviation and Saudi Arabian Airlines agree on the Transformation Program


Captain Abdulhakim bin Mohammed Al-Badr, the Authority's Assistant President for Safety, Security and Air Transport held a meeting with Mr. Jaan Albrecht, CEO of Saudi Air Transport Company at GACA headquarters in Riyadh. Both parties agreed to work as a team to implement the Transformation Program that aims at raising operational efficiency, which comes in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
 
Together they discussed the challenges facing the company in the next stage as well as raising the level of services provided to airline passengers, in addition to issues related to aviation safety and security, while maintaining the highest levels of safety in the company and giving young cadres the opportunity to take leadership positions in Saudi Air Transport Company.
 
Captain Al-Badr emphasized that the General Authority of Civil Aviation supports the work of Saudi Air Transport Company to create positive change at all levels. He underlined the importance and priority of aviation security and safety, and pointed out that the Authority always seeks to maintain the highest safety standards in air transport in Saudi Arabia, stressing that the Authority and the company are working as a team to serve the civil aviation sector and increase the vital contribution civil aviation makes to the national economy.
