GACA concludes its tour of Embry Riddle University

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) concluded a tour in the United States by visiting Embry Riddle University, one of the world’s best aeronautical school specializing in aviation, aerospace and aviation science.
 
A delegation from the Saudi Aviation Academy and Projects sector at GACA visited the university on the State of Florida in the United States and met with school officials.  They discussed ways of developing cooperation between GACA and the University; they also visited several facilities at the University including the College of Aviation and Engineering.
 
During the meeting, Dr. Bary, president of the University stressed the importance of cooperation between the two parties and provided a brief history of the University, its service and aspects of its achievements.
 
The participants discussed ways of joint-cooperation and identified opportunities for exchanging experiences in areas of mutual interests.
 
The visit comes at the end of a successful business visit to the United States that witnessed many activities, and meeting aimed at upgrading air transport system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The most prominent of these were the meetings with senior officials of more than 50 American companies specializing in civil aviation and the signing of a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences between the Kingdom and the United States in the field of civil aviation.  They were other meetings with companies that specializes in the construction of airports and one that provide advisory services related to civil aviation and air transport industry.
