GACA hold a workshop at the new Jeddah airport to discuss ways to improve passenger’s experience


Riyadh, November 1, 2018
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), represented by the General Administration for Quality and Customer Protection, held a workshop today entitled (Enhancing the traveler experience in the aviation world) at the new King Abulaziz International Airport.  The workshop is to raise awareness of the service providers at the airport to improve the passengers experience in accordance to the best international standards.
 
All the five national carriers, the ground services company, attended the workshop and those involved in the Kingdom International Airports.  The aim is to share GACA’s directions in improving passenger’s experience and exchanging the expertise of all parties.
 
The workshop discussed the criteria and indicators for measuring the performance of the traveler’s experience, the mechanism and the plans involved.  A list of airports assessment and guidelines were presented.  This in addition to a visual presentation from the participating parties in an effort to transfer experience and benefit from the experiments of others.
 
Furthermore, the Director of Quality and Customer Protection at GACA, Eng. Abdulaziz Dahmash pointed out that the workshop was an extension of the Aviation Forum to improve the experience of traveler recently held in Riyadh.  All efforts were to enhance the experience of travelers in the aviation world, and further enhance the cooperation and success between partners in the aviation industry.  The common goal of all is to improve the experience of passengers at the Kingdom’s airports.
