GACA participates in the World Travel Market Exhibition in London 2021

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) participated in the World Travel Market Exhibition 2021 in the British capital of London, during the period from (1-3) of November. The exhibition is a pioneering event in the travel industry, where 30 exhibitors from 100 countries who specialize in the global travel and tourism industry meet under one roof.
 
The participation of GACA in this global event, within the Saudi pavilion organized by the Saudi Tourism Authority, comes in the context of the efforts made by the Kingdom to consolidate its position on the global tourism map and to explore ways of cooperation and strengthening strategic relations between the relevant authorities in the aviation sector and specialists in the global travel and tourism industry in general. Furthermore, it open opportunities for investors globally. This in addition to contribute to the development and support of the tourism movement in the Kingdom, and highlighting GACA’s efforts and strategic initiatives that aim through it to raise performance levels in the civil aviation sector and confirm the vital role that the authority plays in the aviation industry in the region and the world and to build strong relationships through meeting with 30 exhibiting companies in the global market.
 
Through this participation, GACA aims to highlight the role of the civil aviation sector in the Kingdom as an important driver in the local and regional economy and the promising investment opportunities offered by the sector, especially after the launch of the civil aviation sector strategy. A strategy that is one of the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to be the first civil aviation sector in the Middle East region, and that the Kingdom be a logistic center linking the three continents and a global center for transport and air freight. This in addition to reviewing the expansion witnessed by the Kingdom’s region from the construction and development of airports to acquire its share of the aviation market, as the sector serves all regions of the Kingdom in the 29 airports in all areas, where tourism, commercial and economic landmarks differ and will be the best tributary to many initiatives in support of local tourism programs and development in all sectors and regions of the Kingdom.
