Civil Aviation: 73% satisfaction rate of passengers during the month of January at airports Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Medina

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced passenger’s satisfaction statistical report for the month of January in each of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, King Fahad International Airport in Dammam and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.  More than 600,000 passengers were surveyed, with an overall satisfaction rating of 73% for the month of January 2019.

The survey showed a satisfaction rate of 73% for service rendered at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, while King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah reach a rating of 59%.  King Fahad international Airport in Dammam reached a satisfaction level rating of 76%, while Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah came in at 77%.

It is worth mentioning that General Directorate of Quality and Customer Protection at GACA issues a monthly report on passenger’s satisfaction level for the service provided in order to assess the current level of services at the airports mentioned and ways to improve them by applying the highest level of international standards in the passenger service quality.  Quality services that is in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, in order to achieve the optimum service quality.

Furthermore, teams of the General Directorate of Quality and Customer Protection, also conduct periodic field trips at airports, and prepare the above mentioned customer satisfaction reports and feedback on service provided.  This done to assess the current level of services and analyze the information received through those surveys, and other highly reliable assessment tools, to improve and develop those services for the travelling public at the Kingdom’s airports.
