GACA grants the operational safety license for ground services to United Airlines

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has officially granted the operational safety license for ground services (GACAR 151) to United Airlines, enabling the company to engage in ground service activities at airports across the Kingdom. This comes after United Airlines successfully fulfilled all requirements set forth by GACA in terms of service standards, quality, and safety, in accordance with GACA's Executive Regulations for Aviation Safety (GACARs 171, 172, 173, 174).

The license was presented on behalf of His Excellency the President of GACA by Captain Suleiman bin Saleh Al-Muhaimidi, Vice President of Safety and Aviation Standards, to Mr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of United Airlines.

It is worth mentioning that the General Authority of Civil Aviation is committed to facilitating civil aviation activities that contribute to achieving strategic objectives in the aviation sector and enhancing its role as a regulator for the air transport industry in the Kingdom
