GACA added Al-Jouf and Arar airports to its resumption of domestic flights list

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced that the operational readiness of Al-Jouf and Arar airports has been completed and was added as part of the “Resumption of domestic flights in the Kingdom” starting on Monday the 1st of June 2020, thus there will be 13 number of destinations.
 
GACA clarified the kingdom's operational readiness to gradually lift the suspension of domestic flights in order to ensure a safe travel for passengers through Saudi airports. This while taking all necessary preventive and health measures in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and relevant government agencies within airport facilities, and will also work in coordination with airports and carriers  Air and companies operating in the civil aviation sector to meet the demand in the local market.
 
It is worth noting, that GACA has announced the resumption of domestic flights in stages to include all local destinations within two weeks. The first stage includes the operation of the following airports: (King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Qassim, Abha International Airport, Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Tabuk, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Jazan, Hail International Airport, King Saud Airport in Al Bahah, and Najran Airport).
