Al-Mansouri heads the Kingdom's delegation participating in the Kuwait Airshow 2020

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) participated in the Kuwait Air Show 2020 in its second edition, which will be held during the period from 15 to 18 of January. The air show will be under the patronage of the Emir of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
 
The Kingdom’s delegation was headed by His Excellency the President of GACA, Mr. Abdulhadi Al-Mansouri.
 
The Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah and President of Kuwait Civil Aviation Sheikh Salman Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah and guests of the exhibition visited the Kingdom’s pavilion and listened a brief review on air transport sector in the Kingdom, as well as, a brief explanation of some ongoing projects and the ones that are already implemented.
 
The Saudi pavilion was also visited by His Highness, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Kuwait, Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khaled Al Saud, and he reviewed the contents and went over the objectives of the pavilion display.
 
The Kingdom’s participation aims to introduce investment opportunities in the sector and review the major developments achieved. It’s also a chance to review the the civil aviation sector projects in building and developing and improving the 28 airports around the Kingdom.
 
GACA ’s participation comes to highlight the achievements of the civil aviation sector and review the existing projects and confirm the distinction of civil aviation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This comes in light of the expansion witnessed by the region from establishing and developing airports to acquire its share of the aviation market. It is a chance to meet directly with various civil aviation authorities, to discuss developments and challenges facing the civil aviation industry in the region.
 
It is worth noting, that Kuwait Airshow 2020 in its second edition, will have more than 35 countries in attendance, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and 200 companies of civil and military airlines. This in addition to services related to aviation to showcase the latest developments in the field of aviation industry and provide specialized technologies in this field. Furthermore, the air show will showcase more than 70 diverse aircraft. The Kuwait Air Show also aims to promote private aviation, air services and industries in global markets, and transfer global experiences and the latest developments and technology in the field of aviation and aerospace.
