The Kingdom and the UAE sign a memorandum of understanding in the field of aviation security

His Excellency the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, signed a memorandum of understanding today in the field of aviation security between the Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. The Emirati side was represented by His Excellency the Director General of the UAE  Civil Aviation Authority, Mr. Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi at GACA’s headquarter in Riyadh.
 
The MoU aims to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of aviation security, thus contributing to the modernization of the administrative, regulatory, operational and technical fields. The memorandum included several areas, most notably the exchange of experiences to develop and improve the civil aviation security infrastructure and apply best practices and applications used in the field of software systems. This in addition to benefiting from qualified technical cadres between the two countries and other items that enhance bilateral cooperation between the two sides.
