GACA president inspects the progress of operations at Medina Airport

Today, His Excellency the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Airports Holding Company, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, inspected the progress of operations at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina, accompanied by the CEO of Airports Holding Company, Eng. Abdullah Al-Maghlouth, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Taiba Airport Operating Company. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Rajhi, the adviser to His Excellency the President of GACA for Governance and Executive Projects, Eng. Sulaiman Al-Bassam.
His Excellency reviewed the services provided to the Umrah visitors and the readiness of the airport around the clock for the peak of the Umrah season of this year. He stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to serve the Umrah visitors, including pilgrims and Umrah performers. His Excellency praised the efforts made by all government and private agencies working at the airport and their combined and integrated efforts to ensure the provision of the finest services.
His Excellency the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Emir of the Medina Region, and His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Deputy Emir of the Medina Region, for their constant support and follow-up, in providing the best services to Umrah and Hajj pilgrims passing through the region’s airports and enriching their experience, noting that GACA is working with the support of wise leadership to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing the air transport and airport sector, which are compatible with the goals of the Saudi Aviation strategy for the sector.
