LSA - Light Sport Aircraft Certificate of Registration

Description

This service allows the beneficiaries to apply for an Aircraft Registration and obtain an Aircraft certificate of registration.

1. Application: The applicant must submit all relevant documents as provided in the rules of the General Authority for Civil Aviation in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
2. Review: the GACA will review the documents submitted and verify if compliance with the GACAR is achieved.
3. Issue of a Certification of Registration: The GACA will only issue a Certification of Registration when the GACA is completely satisfied that all regulations have been adequately addressed.
4. Delivery of a Certificate of Registration.
5. Record: The Applicant will provide all documents required for filing purposes.

Light Sport Aircrafts owners and operators
Pre-Requisites
Aircrafts must have a two way aviation radio, ELT (406 MHz), Transponder mode S or better programmed with 24-Bit address, and a fire extinguisher.
Procedure
1. Application: The Applicant shall submit a letter and filled form with required documents.
2. Review: The GACA designated Specialist will review the request and documents to verify their compliance with the GACAR requirements.
3. Issuance: the authority will issue the Certificate of Registration

3.Aircraft Bill of Sale or any evidence of ownership
4.Certificate of Origin
5.Statement of compliance
6.Deregistration (if the aircraft was previously registered)
