Heliport and Landing Strips Owners

Pre-Requisites

None

Procedure

1-    Filling up the helipad/landing strip registration form by Owners / operators
2-    Owner (non-governmental agencies) shall pay for registration fees
3-    Owners or operators shall comply with all the requirements and the standards of GACAR 138
4-    Owners shall re-register helipad/landing strip every two years
5-    Owners shall notify GACA for any changes to the physical characteristics of the Helipad/landing strip or its facilities
6-    Owner is responsible of all technical, security, and safety requirements
7-    Owners shall not operate Helipad/landing strip for commercial purposes or against the rules of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
8-    Owners shall re-register helipad/landing strip when there is a change to ownership

Required Documents

1.Copy of the region Emirah approval
2.Copy of the location of the heliport through google map
3.Service level agreement with Air Traffic Control tower (Air Navigation sector) as stated in GACAR 138
