Meeting the GACA DAR-T eligibility requirements shown in GACA eBook Volume 14 Chapter 5 Section 1. Ref 14.5.2.13 Domestic Applicant only.

Procedure

Initiation, Technical Determination, Interview, DAR Designation Number, Certificate of Designation, and Letter of Appointment. Refer to GACA eBook Volume 14 Chapter 5 and GACAR part 183.

1.8110-14 STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATION (DAR-DER-DME)

Required Documents

1.Letter of application addressed to the General Manager of Airworthiness (*).
2.GACA Form 8110-14 “Statement of Qualification (DAR-DER)”.
3.Evidence that the applicant meets all eligibility requirements shown in GACA eBook Volume 14 listed in paragraph 14.7.2.7 (Domestic) or 14.7.2.11(Foreign).
4.Proof of fee payment

Additional Help

DAR-T may apply for renewal of his DAR-T Certificate of Designation within 15 days of its expiration date or when changes in scope of approval are sought.
Applications for renewals and changes in scope of approval must follow the same procedures as described for initial DAR-T appointment.
