Air Operations Standards


The Air Operations Standards Department shall carry out the tasks and technical responsibilities to ensure the safety of aircraft operations and airworthiness and the associated licenses and certificates by issuing the necessary licenses, certificates and credits, and monitoring and auditing compliance in the application of regulations and procedures by civil aircraft operators and maintenance stations Aircraft, schools, aviation institutes and training centers are done through departments

Duties & Responsability

  • Studying the licensing application for all commercial air operators, schools and training institutes and then licensing them according to regulations and regulations.
  • Accreditation, inspection and continuous monitoring of trainers and testers for air operators.
  • Conducting supervision and evaluation trips for the new pilots.
  • Delegate the examiners to issue pilots' licenses and their continuous evaluation under the regulations.
  • Conduct periodic checks and inspections of air carriers.
  • Review and check the pages of modifications to aircraft operating manuals, aviation training manuals, as well as minimum aircraft instrumentation lists.
  • Ensuring that the regulations relating to air operation activities are implemented and that compliance is ensured.
  • Studying the license application for aeronautical and unmanned aircraft and licensing them according to the regulations and regulations.
  • Studying the application for licensing for foreign employment and auditing them.
