Goals
- Define maintenance program objectives
- Measure, analyze and report progress toward meeting stated program objectives
- Identify and select sector maintenance contractors
- Provide day-to-day maintenance support for the Saudi Arabian air navigation system
- Participate in installation of non-contracted systems and facilities
- Develop, coordinate and implement actions necessary to meet operational air navigation system requirements in conjunction with Systems Engineering
- Maintain status information regarding available equipment and facilities resources
- Notify relevant parties ( i.e. Aeronautical Information Services) of any major system failures
- Coordinate training needs for maintenance staff with ANS Human Resources
- Planan monitor and regularly assess a preventive maintenance program as per instructed commissioned systems and facilities

Coordinate the assessment and analysis of systems performance deviations and deficiencies and recommend corrective actions in
conjunction with Safety Management, ATM-CNS Planning and Systems Eng. - Study and assess the maintenance support terms provided by systems manufacturers and contractors
- Study spare parts requirements for each system and coordinate with Logistics the availability of required stock level
- Receive all air navigation systems failure notifications from maintenance staff at sectors or from Operations at ATS units at airports
- Coordinate with Field Engineering the deployment of task teams needed to undertake corrective actions at the sites and facilities
- Maintain and update a schedule of deployed task teams to the sectors
- Follow up with deployed task teams regarding repaired systems status
- Notify AIS of any major system failures/repairs to issue NOTAMs

Provide on site corrective technical maintenance support for automation, communication, navaids, surveillance and
electro-mechanical systems and facilities - Participate in Installing non-contracted systems and facilities
- Assist in installing contracted systems and facilities
- Work closely with Systems Engineering in testing and commissioning newly installed systems and facilities
- Commission and decommission the maintenance status of systems and facilities
- Calibrate and test precision measurement equipment
- Repair systems and facilities components
- Coordinate the storing of repaired electronic and electro-mechanical spare parts with Logistics and Warehousing
- Provide on-site technical support, Assure preventive maintenance schedules are met
- Ensure timely response to corrective maintenance needs
- Communicate failed repairs to the Maintenance Control Center
- Support military bases in technical maintenance
- Coordinate with Logistics and Central Workshops the supply of needed spare parts and the fixing of damaged ones
- Coordinate training needs for the sector maintenance staff with ANS Human Resources and Corporate HR
