A) Aviation Safety Inspector (Airworthiness) Job Qualification Requirements

 
  1. Holds an A&P License or equivalent (except for Avionics majors)
  2. Minimum 5 years Aviation maintenance work experience (cost study) in a repair station, air carrier repair facility or similar.
  3. Supervisory experience is desirable.
  4. Investigation and report on accidents, incidents and violations experience is desirable.
  5. Fluent in the English language.
  6. Knowledge of FAA FAR specifically (FAR 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 39, 43, 91, 121, 125, 135 and 145.)
  7. Knowledge of ICAO annexes.
  8. Experience working in a National Aviation Authority is highly Desirable

B) Airworthiness Engineer Job Qualification Requirements

  1. Bachelor degree in Engineering in one of the following disciplines: Avionics, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or equivalent.
  2. Engineering work experience in Aviation
  3. Supervisory experience is desirable.

A) Aviation Safety Inspector (Operations) Job qualification requirements

Possess a valid GACA Airline Transport Pilot License or equivalent certificate issued by an ICAO member state, with multiengine, fixed wing turbo jet type rating in at least two aircrafts.
 
  1. Minimum of 5000 hrs. Flying experience with at least 500 hrs in modern glass cockpit aircraft.
  2. Minimum of 1500 hrs. As Pilot-in-Command with an air carrier.
  3. Maximum age 55 Years old.
  4. Check airman experience, Simulator check airman preferable.
  5. Recency as an Inspector, examiner, aviation management, check airman or a pilot not to exceed 3 Years
  6. Familiarity with Saudi Arabian GACA/FAR ( U.S.A. Federal Aviation Regulations) and ICAO Annexes.
  7. Fluent in English language, Understanding, Reading and Writing.
  8. Initiative, tact and sound judgment with ability to maintain harmonious relationship with others.

B) Aviation Safety Inspector (Cabin Safety) Job qualification requirements

 
  1. Have served as an air carrier flight attendant for a minimum of 10 Years.
  2. Have served as a flight attendant supervisor or equivalent position for a minimum of 3 years.
  3. Experience as safety ground instructor preferable.
  4. Maximum age 50 Years old.
  5. Familiarity with Saudi Arabian GACA/FAR (U.S.A. Federal Aviation Regulations) and ICAO Annexes.
  6. Fluent in Arabic and English languages, Understanding, Reading and Writing.

  1. Receive, examine, and record the condition of flight recorders.
  2. Perform download and readout of data from aircraft flight recorders.
  3. Reconstruction of the flight path.
  4. Maintain a database for commonly used aircraft (FFD-Frame Format Descriptor files)
  5. Assist investigators in the FDR data analysis
  6. Playback of the cockpit voice recorder (CVR) and prepare transcript and submit reports.
  7. Participate in occurrence investigations-Flight Recorders Group.
Required Competencies

D) Director ANS Safety

Area of Responsibilities
  1. Direct and supervise the ANS Safety Division. Lead and manage the section in ensuring the safety of air navigation services being provided within Saudi Arabia.
  2. Establish and propagate standards for the certification of Air Traffic Controllers to ensure adequate qualifications are met.
  3. Establish and enforce CNS systems standards and requirements to ensure the safety of the Air Navigation infrastructure.
  4. Develop Air Navigation Flight Procedure guidelines in conjunction with ANS Safety Management Systems and Operations Planning to ensure that proper land / take off procedures are followed at Airports.
  5. Assess obstacles around airports and certify aerodromes to ensure their compliance with all safety requirements.
  6. Assess the impact of potential changes to air traffic control regulations on safety standards (e.g., shortening air distance/time intervals aircraft) .
  7. Certify new ANS technologies prior to their deployment to ensure that they are in accordance with international safety standards.
  8. Oversee and monitor outsourcing activities of flight procedures inspection
  9. Conduct regular safety audits at ACC, approaches and towers in conjunction with ANS Safety Management System
  10. Establish and enforce ANS standards and requirements to ensure safety of ANS operations.
  11. Investigate and or Participate in accident or incident investigations related to air traffic services.
Required Competencies
  1. Bachelor of Science in Aviation Safety / Aeronautics, and Air Transport Pilot License.
  2. Knowledge and accuracy in the application of US FAA Terminal Procedures Manual and other related publications
  3. Knowledge of ICAO PANS-OPS, Annexes and other related publications.

Required Competencies
  1. University degree or equivalent (Preferable to be in engineering or Aviation related field).

  3. Aware of Aerodromes and aviation systems requirement.

  5. Leadership and Management skills.

F) CNS Safety Expert

Area of Responsibilities
  1. Exercise overall supervision and direction of the flight inspection specialists.
  2. Plan and assign of flight inspection to be accomplished.
  3. Review and initial all flight inspection reports.
  4. Ensure that all flight inspection documents are properly filed.
  5. Attend flight inspection conferences.
  6. Participate in meetings concerning airspace future plans.
  7. Participate with other departments concerning aviation safety.
  8. Establish CNS systems standards and requirements.
  9. Certify new CNS technologies prior to their deployment.
  10. Proficiency in communicating and writing in both Arabic and English languages.
Required Competencies

  5. Investigate and / or participate in the investigation of air traffic occurrences
Required Competencies
  1. Diploma from Air Traffic Control Academy
  2. Knowledge and accuracy in the applying Directives from the US FAA Terminal Procedures Manual and other applicable publications
  3. Knowledge of ICAO PANS-OPS, Annexes and other ATS related publications.
  4. Knowledge of Air Traffic Services, control functions and procedures

I) Airport Standards & Safety Expert

Area of Responsibilities
  1. Provide advice on Aerodromes Safety & Standards issues.
  2. Prepare, establish, and _of airport standards and safety manuals
  3. Supervise and perform airport safety inspections and recommend corrective actions
  4. Supervise and perform airports certifications
  5. Analyze, evaluate and review factors affecting safety at airports
